Hello all, hope you are well. It's a slow week for me at the moment. The weather is dull and I'm mainly recovering from a weekend away last weekend having attended the excellent Swingamajig, once more, and possibly for the last time, back in it's spiritual home of Digbeth, Birmingham. Which I also happen to consider a spiritual home too.
Panel production is slow at the moment. A combination of entering a part of the story where the contents of the panels are all new and need to be drawn fresh rather than taken and re-used from a previous panel which does aid with the speed of production it has to be said. The other part of my slow down is I am a mere 36 strips from the finish which translates to a simple gross of panels to produce at my leisure really.
Also, to a lesser extent at the moment, I'm looking at other little projects I need to do. I have friend's birthdays coming up not to mention that thing at the end of December. Having been gifted a large amount of card I made the offer to friends to make them something “hand made”* and pop it into the post to them and several have rushed to the chance to keep me busy it seems.
*hand made in the sense that hands will be manipulating a mouse and keyboard while creating something in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign before printing them out. The envelope for the card is cut out and glued by hand if that helps with the definition.
